Salsa Festival in Marrakesh



2nd International Festival of Salsa in Marrakech

The first edition of the Marrakech International Salsa Festival (SFIM) was a huge success when more than 2000 participants from around the world participated in workshops, performances and large parties! Now a second edition has been announced.


The second edition of SFIM will be held from 1 to 4 October 2009 in Marrakech with a new artistic palette and a program adapted to include some unforgettable moments. The most famous Latino and Salsa dancers in the world will be on hand for 4 days and visitors can take courses in Latin and Salsa dance suitable for all levels. There will be entertainment and dancing throughout the nights in this prestigious and magnificent site - the Palmeraie Golf Palace.

Take a break in France - River Dreaming.



River Dreaming is in the French town of Sainte-Foy-La-Grande in the Gironde, where the Saturday market is one of the best in the whole of France. The town boasts several excellent restaurants featuring delicious Perigord food, and is in the middle of wine country. Saint Emilion and Bergerac are close by, and Bordeaux is an hour away by train. The town also lies on the Vezelay route to Santiago de Compostela. Canoe the river, visit the vineyards, sample the food, go fishing, horseriding, swimming or birdwatching - there are herons, hawks, ducks and swans just below the balcony.

Motivated, hard working, and personable tour guide from Hawaii seeking a permanent position with a company in Morocco.

Mopeds wanted

Car for sale in Fez



Renault Kangoo - $11,500 USD;

The car will be 2 years old in June and should have about 45,000 K on it when we leave in late June, it is the 1.5 liter fuel injected diesel model, has A/C and a metal (special ordered from Renault)roof rack is included. I have always used fully synthetic oil and have changed the oil each 6,000K.

We prefer to get USD in the form of a check or a wire transfer.

Apartment wanted inTaroudannt




A recently retired Canadian man plans to move to Taroudannt at the beginning of May. I will need a small furnished apartment consisting of one bedroom, salon, bathroom with a western-type toilet and shower, plus a small but complete kitchen. A balcony or "terrasse" would be nice but is not essential. I can pay a maximum of 2800 MAD monthly with water and electricity included. There is no need for a TV.

I am clean and quiet, and that I always pay my rent on time. I want a lease in English, renewable monthly.
